ROSSO DI MONTALCINO DOC
The Rosso di Montalcino DOC Caparzo is produced with grapes from our vineyards in part located to the north and partly to the south of Montalcino. The micro-climates of the different zones allow to obtain a constant quality standard year after year. Valid alternative for the demanding consumer, Rosso di Montalcino is harmonious, elegant, tasty and pleasant pairing.
AREAS OF ORIGIN OF THE GRAPES:
-Locality "Caparzo", altitude 220 meters, north zone: 6 hectares.
Ground: Pliocene, sedimentary, sandy-clayey formation.
- Locality "Il Cassero", altitude 270 meters, southern area: 6 hectares. Land: Pliocene formation a sandy-stony or schist-clayey matrix.
-Locality "San Piero - Caselle" altitude 250 meters, east zone: 7 hectares. Soil: sandy
COLLECTION: mechanized with technology for separating green parts.
ALCOHOLIC FERMENTATION: lasts 7 days at a controlled temperature between 28 and 30 ° C to which follow delestage and replacements. Being in the presence of particularly valuable peels it comes extended the period of contact with them for another 5 days.
MALOLACTIC FERMENTATION: spontaneous.
ALCOHOL IN VOLUME: 13.50% vol.

COLOR: intense ruby red.
PERFUME: penetrating bouquet, very broad and varied, violet, raspberry and pomegranate.
