VERMENTINO TOSCANA IGT
Vermentino is a vine with an uncertain origin, but after many researches it is considered
a variety of Malvasia Grossa from the eastern Pyrenees spread towards the end of the nineteenth century France.  From here it would have landed on the Maremma coast where it was acclimatized by acquiring varietal characteristics that in these areas make it a well recognizable grape variety significantly different from that cultivated in Liguria and Sardinia.  Wine and vine of tradition,
Vermentino grows on the rolling hills of the Tuscan Maremma on land of origin
sedimentary and neo-autochthonous loose soils, originated from marine sediments of Pliocene origin, benefiting both from sea breezes, which also minimize the possibility of diseases for the vine, that of the light reflected from the Tyrrhenian Sea.  The Vermentino Doga delle Clavule is a wine fresh, intense and persistent with floral aromas, delicate and justly sapid.
